They're both amazing extraordinary in their own way but if I had to buy just one series to play, I would pick Halo.

GTA, I love that game. Nothing better than stealing cars and killing people without going to jail.

They're a bit different, but since I was never pulled that much into Halo, I'd have to side with GTA.
